Eric joined Petredis Investment Advisors (PIA) in 2024 as the firm’s Trader.  Beyond trading activities, he also assists with operational tasks.

Eric’s previous work included equity portfolio management at a Pittsburgh asset management firm, market risk analysis and later managing the collateral valuation department of Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB) Pittsburgh, and most recently performing financial modeling in support of product development at a fintech software start-up.

Outside of his work at PIA, Eric enjoys his present teaching assignment as an adjunct professor of finance at La Roche University.  Eric was formerly an adjunct professor of finance at Carnegie Mellon University.

A 2007 summa cum laude graduate of Duquesne University’s Palumbo School of Business, Eric majored in Finance and Investment Management.  He later graduated with honors from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University in 2012.

Eric earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and holds the Chartered Alternative Investment analyst (CAIA) credential.  He is the Co-President/Governance Chair of the CFA Society Pittsburgh board of directors, where he has been an active board member since 2019.  In this volunteer capacity, Eric has hosted the local competition of CFA Institute’s Investment Research Challenge for five years and is a passionate supporter of the Society’s financial literacy efforts.

Eric, his wife, and their three children live in Cranberry Township, PA.
