Charles joined Petredis Investment Advisors in 2012. At PIA, he creates and executes client financial plans to help clients meet their financial goals. Charles develops, reviews, and updates client investment policies and asset allocations. Charles focuses his time on multi-generational client education and planning for PIA’s multi-generational family clients.
Charles also contributes to the management of client portfolios by providing economic and fundamental research, trading, and other portfolio management functions for individual securities, mutual funds, ETFs, separately managed accounts, retirement plans, and other types of investments.
Charles serves as the Chief Compliance Officer of Petredis Investment Advisors and helps develop the long-term strategy for the firm.
Charles is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder, having achieved the right to use the designation in August 2014.
Charles previously worked in PNC's Capital Markets group as an insurance credit underwriting analyst.
Charles earned his B.S. in Finance in 2010 with a minor in Economics from The Pennsylvania State University. At Penn State, Charles managed ~$500,000 as the Lead Energy Portfolio Manager for the Nittany Lion Fund during 2008 and 2009. In 2024, Charles joined the board of The Saint Constantine School of Pittsburgh, a private K-12 school providing a classical, Christian education for students to grow in wisdom, virtue, and joy.
Charles, his wife, and their three children live in Wexford, PA.
